About Our Work in This Country
Islamic Help has been working in Bangladesh since 2015, serving communities across multiple districts including Kurigram, Pabna, Sirajganj, Kishorgonj, Cumilla, Sylhet, and rural areas nationwide. The work focuses on WASH infrastructure (over 150,000 people served with clean water), food security (seasonal Ramadan/Qurbani distributions plus emergency flood relief),
livelihoods (rickshaws, sewing machines, poultry, agriculture), orphan care (400-500+ children annually), and environmental restoration (10,000+ trees planted). Islamic Help’s Bangladesh operations integrate emergency relief, development programming, and faith-based seasonal aid to support some of the country’s most marginalized communities outside the refugee camps.
