The Fruit Cart Livelihoods Programme helps vulnerable families move from dependency to daily self-reliance through dignified micro-enterprise. This project removes that barrier by providing a fully equipped mobile fruit cart, initial stock, and basic trading tools.

Each cart enables beneficiaries to begin earning immediately by selling affordable fruit in their local community from day one.

The Fruit Cart project is delivered through Islamic Help and trusted local partners. Beneficiaries are selected using vulnerability assessments and community verification. Each cart package is tracked from procurement to distribution. Stock provision, training delivery, and setup completion are recorded and verified.

Monitoring focuses on income consistency, business sustainability, and household stability. Field teams conduct follow-ups to assess progress and address challenges.

Financial controls align with UK charity regulations and internal audit standards. Project data is logged centrally, reviewed regularly, and used to improve programme delivery.
