Together, we deploy ortho-plastic surgical teams—specialist NHS consultants combining orthopaedic and plastic surgery expertise to treat the complex blast injuries, severe burns and traumatic amputations that define this crisis
Our volunteer surgeons take unpaid leave from leading UK hospitals to spend two to four weeks in Gaza, operating 12-14 hours per day in overwhelmed facilities. They perform reconstructive surgery on children with devastating injuries, conduct limb-salvage procedures to prevent unnecessary amputations, and train local Palestinian surgeons in advanced trauma techniques.
We have completed 15 surgical deployments since the conflict escalated. Each mission treats dozens of patients who would otherwise face permanent disability or death.
